Born in 1968 in Artvin, Op. Dr. Kayhan Turan completed his high school education at Eskişehir Cumhuriyet High School. He started his bachelor education at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1985 and graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1992. Dr. Kayhan Turan completed his specialty education successfully at Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine between 1993-1998. During his residency, he participated in the Externship Program at Northwestern University Medical School Orthopedic Surgery Department in Chicago, USA.
Between 1999-2007, he served as Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist at Bursa Çekirge State Hospital. During this period, he served in Bekamed Bone Muscle Joint Health Center between 1999-2006. In 2006, Turan & Turan Bone, Muscle and Joint Health Center was opened. Dr. Dr. Kayhan Turan continues his work as an orthopedic surgeon and medical director at Turan & Turan Bone, Muscle and Joint Health Center and Aritmi Osmangazi Hospital.
Specializing in arthroscopic surgery and joint prosthesis surgery, Op. Dr. Kayhan Turan; In robotic surgery, knee and hip prosthesis applications for the first time in Bursa, Turkey carries negotiated with SGK. He completed his robotic surgery studies in USA.
